Katya
Petrovskaya (born 1970 in Kiev, Ukraine) studied literature at
Estonia and received her doctorate in Russia. He has been living in Germany since 1999. In 2013
she won the Ingeborg Bachmann prize and wrote her first in German
bestseller, Maybe Esther , published in 2014,
for which she won the Schubart, Ernst Toller, Aspekte and literary awards
The European Strega Award. Maybe Esther found herself on
topped Spiegel's bestseller list and has been translated into twenty languages.
