Almir IMŠIREVIĆ, born March 10, 1971. in Bihać. At the Academy of Performing Arts graduated from the Department of Dramaturgy, and since 1998 has been working as a lecturer and playwright. He is the author of the plays: "If this were a play...", "The Balkan Devil Shame", "Circus Inferno", "According to a true story", "Mousefuckers", "If this was film"... His plays have been awarded at festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, performed in many European countries, and included in French and Bosnian anthologies contemporary drama. As a playwright, he worked in almost all professional theaters BiH. So far, he has published two books of plays, and a book of short stories "Strana 212" and "The Most Beautiful of All Worlds". Theatre reviews, reviews and essays published in Sarajevo magazines. He is also the author of several scripts for television projects done in BiH and Croatia, and screenwriter of the feature film "Milky Way". He was one of the leaders of the Open Stage "Obala", and for many years he was on the the position of Head of the Department of Dramaturgy, and today he is a full professor in the subject Writing for the theater.
