Zdravka Evtimova (Pernik, 1959) is a Bulgarian writer and translator. She is the author of several novels and collections of short stories, and in addition, she has translated more than twenty-five novels by English, American and Canadian authors into Bulgarian, as well as works by Bulgarian writers into English. Her literary works have been published in more than thirty countries and included in school curricula throughout Europe and North America. She has won numerous national and international awards. She is a member of the Bulgarian Writers' Union and the Writers' League in the United Kingdom - Yorkshire-Humberside region, as well as the Bulgarian PEN Center.
