Tommy Wieringa (born 1967 in Hor, The Netherlands) is the author of several books, the most famous of which is the novel Joe Speedboat . He is the winner of numerous awards award, including the IMPAC literary award. The novel These Are the Names won the Libris prize, known as the "Dutch Booker". Books have been published in more than fifteen countries.
