Karine Tuil (Paris, 1972) is the author of twelve novels translated into numerous languages. Human things , her eleventh novel in a row, was awarded the Interallié prize in 2019, as well as the Goncourt des Lycées prize, and two years later a film of the same name was made. She was awarded the Order of Arts and Literature in the rank of officer.
