Vernes Subasic was born in 1984 in Zenica. He is the winner of the first award "Mak Dizdar" at event "Slovo Bitter" in Stolac in 2019 for the collection of songs Papagaj sloboda , and he was also awarded for prose work in the short story category. His poems and stories were published in many regional magazines and literary anthologies.
