Igor Stanojoski is a Macedonian linguist and novelist. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology "Blaže Koneski" in Skopje, Department of Macedonian Language with General and Comparative Literature. He worked at the Universities of Lviv, Katowice and Brno. He received his PhD from the Institute of Slovenian Philology in Sosnowiec, Poland. He is the author of several books in the field of linguistics and the novels Gargar a, Prvi univerzitetski dan moje kćerke and Disomnije .
