Zadie Smith was born in North West London in 1975. She is the author of the novels White Teeth , The Autograph Collector and About Beauty . She won the Orange Prize for Fiction and the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award, and Time magazine included her novel White Teeth in the list of the 100 best novels in the English language from 1923 to 2005. Her last novel, Northwest , was published in 2012.
