Shokoofeh Azar moved to Australia as a politician refugee in 2011. She is the author of essays, articles and children's books, and is the first An Iraqi woman who walked the entire Silk Road. The novel Enlightenment of the tree Zerdelije , originally written in Farsi, was her first novel published in English language .
