Adania Shibli (Palestine, 1974) writes novels, plays, short stories and essays. She is a two-time winner of the Qattan Young Writer's Award-Palestine, in 2001 for the novel Masās and in 2003 for Kulluna ba'id bi that ak-miqdar an al-hubb . Her latest novel A Minor Detail was shortlisted for the National Book Award 2020 and shortlisted for the Booker International 2021. Shibli is also engaged in academic research and teaching.
