Bekim Sejranović was born in 1972 in Brčko. He studied and lived in Rijeka, a since 1993 in Oslo, where he received his master's degree from the Faculty of History and Philosophy South Slavic literature. Since 2000, he has been working as a court interpreter and literary translator, taught Norwegian for foreigners, and wrote and published prose. He is the author of the book of short stories Fasung , as well as the novel Nowhere, out of nowhere , A Better End , Sandals , Your Son, Huckleberry Finn and Diary of a Nomad . For novel Nowhere, from nowhere was awarded the "Meša Selimović" Award in 2009. For the last few years, he lived in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Banja Luka. The last nomad of South Slavic literature i the most charming captain of uncertain sailing left suddenly in May 2020.
