Mediha Šehidić (Zenica, 1964) is a Bosnian writer. She is a social worker by profession, employed in a social counseling center. So far, she has published three books of prose: Na-opako i po-prijeko , Brodska cesta bb and Kapija , which were published in several editions. The book Kapija was translated into German by the ANUBiH. Her works have been included in several anthologies of prose and poetry, and published in many literary magazines in Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a member of the Society of Writers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He lives and works in Vienna. Death and Sweet Quince is her first collection of poetry.
