Saskia De Coster (born 1976 in Leuven, Belgium) is a visual artist and writer. She is the author of several novels, the most famous of which are Dit is van mij (This is mine), Mi i ja and Heroj. This is mine and We and I were nominated for the AKO literary award and the Golden Owl, and for the novel Hero, she received the Avant-Garde Award for the best Dutch novel in 2008. Her works have been translated into several world languages.
