Ahmed Sadavi (Baghdad, 1973) is an Iraqi novelist, poet, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker. He is the first Iraqi to win the International Prize for Arabic Fiction in 2014, for his book Frankenstein in Baghdad , and was shortlisted for the Man Booker International.
