Arundhati Roy (1961), Indian writer, essayist and activist, author of the novel God of small things , translated into more than forty languages, for which in 1997 won the Booker prize. After that, she published several books, including: The Algebra of Infinite Justice , Listening to Grasshoppers and Broken Republic .

Ministry of Complete Happiness is her second novel.
