Nadija Rebronja (1982) is a poet and essayist. She received her PhD in literature from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. She teaches literature as a university assistant professor. Her poetry has been translated into English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Polish, Turkish, Persian, Macedonian, Albanian and Slovenian. She has been presented at several significant literary events and festivals in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Based on the poetry from her book Ples morima u prevodu na izvodu na izvodu, eight compositions were created in 2016 at the Niccolo Piccini Conservatory in Bari, which were presented at several concerts in Italy, Denmark and the USA. As a scholar-researcher, she stayed at the University of Vienna (2009) and the University of Granada (2010—2011). As a lecturer in literature, she gave several guest lectures at universities in Panama in Spanish. She speaks English, Spanish and Turkish, uses Russian and knows Arabic. She was educated and lived for longer or shorter periods in Novi Pazar, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sarajevo, Granada, Vienna, Istanbul, Buenos Aires. She does not believe in addresses or places of residence. By choice, she spends most of her time between the State University of Novi Pazar-Granada-Sarajevo.
