Ivica Pinjuh was born in 1957 in Apple trees. He graduated on the topic "Stylish forms and stylistic models in the work Raymond Queno's STYLISH EXERCISES", he received his master's degree with the topic "The Story of Jesus Christ and intersemiotic transformations from myth to narrative film" and received his doctorate on the topic "Narrative expansion from idea to action" at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, where he taught at the Department of Comparative Literature and Library Science, until early retirement. He participated in hundreds of international symposiums and congresses and published hundreds of professional papers and essays. He was a member of the jury several film and theater festivals as well as contemporary art biennials. Author is fifteen documentaries about contemporary art biennials around the world. The author of the film scripts "Magic bus", "Fiancé's mirror" and "Santa Claus comes to "Katahuš", as well as the poetry collection "Triptych of Quicklime". He is the editor for theory and film aesthetics in the film magazine "Sineast".
