She was born on August 20, 1951 in Foča. She spent her childhood in Sarajevo, where she was educated and completed her medical studies. After her studies, she moved to Travnik, where she still lives and works as a doctor and specialist in medical microbiology.

She appeared in literature with the collection of poems for children "Ja, slavni Ja" in 1988. After that, she wrote a novel for young people, "Ruža", published in 1990, which is now included in the reading list, while some of her texts are included in reading books.

Nura Bazdur Hubijar is a contributor to many children's magazines, so she writes for Male novine, Lastavice, Vrelo Bosne and Palčić, and for the magazines Most, Odjek and Bosanska vila.

In addition to the above, she also wrote many other novels, including "Amanet", "I'm so sorry", "How I taught a fish to swim", "What's bothering you, Tamaguchi", "When it was July" and others.

Nura Bazdulj Hubijar received many awards for her literary work, including the Golden Ring with Diamond for Woman of the Year in 1997. and that for the field of art and literary award of VBZ.

Her works have been translated into German, Norwegian and Dutch, one of her novels was filmed as a film for the blind, and the play "Brothers" premiered in 1998 in Zenica.
