Andrej Nikolaidis (Sarajevo, 1974), novelist, critical commentator and journalist, is one of the most important voices from the former Yugoslavia. He wrote the novels Mimesis , Son , Arrival , Delay. Paresija , Hungarian sentence, review Homo Sucker: Poetics of the Apocalypse , etc. For the novel Son, he received the European Union Award for Literature in 2011, and for the Hungarian sentence in 2017, the "Meša Selimović" Award. His books have been published in fourteen languages, including English, German, Italian, Hungarian, Finnish and Turkish.
