David Nicholls (1966) graduated in literature and dramaturgy, and for a time worked as an actor. He is the author of novels that have sold millions of copies and have been published in more than forty languages. He has received several prestigious awards for his literary work, and his most famous novel , One Day, was made into a film of the same name. Sweet Sorrow is his latest novel.
