Zlatan Nezirović (Sarajevo, 1970) holds a master's degree in journalism from the Faculty of Journalism in Sarajevo. He began his career before the war as a journalist in electronic and print media. He spent the war in Sarajevo, working for RTVBiH and writing for the wartime editions of BH Dan and Oslobođenje . In the post-war years, he worked on local television in Abu Dhabi, then returned to Sarajevo. Since 2018, he has been living and working with his family in Istanbul. He published short stories in the wartime Oslobođenje , and more recent ones can be found online on the Eiffel Bridge. The sound of his yellow Vespa drives the neighborhood in Uskudar crazy, and he wants to correspond with old people across the former Yugoslavia.
