Snježana Mulić was born in Sarajevo, where she graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Journalism.

The Society for Endangered Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina nominated her for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005.

For more than ten years she was an editor at Dani magazine, then she worked at Slobodna Bosna magazine and at TV Hayat , she wrote columns for Oslobođenje , Bieler Tagblatt , Glamor Magazine ...

She is the screenwriter of two documentaries.

She published a collection of stories , Sanduk po meri (A Custom-Made Chest) , and was included in two anthologies of contemporary Bosnian prose.
