Elvira Mujčić was born in 1980 quite by chance in Loznica, Serbia, while her mother was traveling home in Srebrenica. She grew up in Srebrenica until the outbreak of war in 1992, when her family started moving from one place to another until they settled down in Italy. He lives in Rome. Graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and literature. She is a translation mentor for young translators for the European project THE WHOLE. She translated numerous works of authors from Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia; including Slavenka Drakulić, Robert Perišić, Vladimir Tasić, Faruk Šehić, Semezdin Mehmedinović.
