Mustafa Mastur (Ahvaz, 1964) is one of the most widely read contemporary Iranian writers. In literary circles he is known as the Iranian translator of the works of Raymond Carver, and his first collection of short stories was written in Carver's manner. By publishing the novel Pjubi Boga od me comes to the center of interest of the literary public and critics. The novella Pig's Bones and leprosy hands has been translated into, among others, English, Russian, Turkish, Italian language.
