Dragan Markovina (Mostar, 1981) is a historian, publicist and writer. In the period of From 2004 to 2014, he worked at the Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy in Split. during which he obtained the title of Doctor of Science and assistant professorship in history. During In 2015, he was employed as the Head of the Archives of Serbs in Croatia. He is regular contributor to a number of portals and magazines: Telegram, Novosti, tacno.net, lupiga.com, Prosvjete, stav.cenzura.hr, Novi plamen and autograf.hr. He is the author of a number of scientific papers articles and books "Between red and black: Split and Mostar in the culture of memory" and "The silence of the defeated city". He is preparing the books "Yugoslavia after everything" and "The Age of Counter-Revolution."
