Admiral Mahić was born in 1948 in Banja Luka. Poet and playwright. He was a member of the Society of Writers of BiH, Society of Croatian writers, as well as the PEN Center of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Croatian PEN Center. He posted 14 books of poetry. During the siege of Sarajevo, he was the leader-coordinator of literary events program at HKD Napredak in Sarajevo. After the war, he stayed in several foreign literary scholarships awarded to him by KulturKontakt Austria, Alte-Schmiede Wien, Kultur Steiermark Graz and Maribor. He was the editor of the magazine for poetry and artistic photography REPUBLIC OF POETRY in Sarajevo. It's his poetry translated into French, Slovenian, German, English... He lived and worked in Poetry.
Admiral Mahić died in Sarajevo in 2015.
