Karl Ove Knausgård born in 1968 in Oslo, and grew up on Trumeja and in Kristiansand.  In the period from 1999 to 2002. works as a literary editor. He made his debut in 1998 with the novel Ute av verden and achieved great success and became the first debutant to receive the prestigious Norwegian critics award "Kritikerprisen". Six-volume the autobiographical novel Min Kamp (My Struggle) was published in the period from 2009 to 2011 and achieved great success in Scandinavia and around the world. Only in 600,000 copies were sold in Norway.
