Namik Kabil is a film director and writer. He is the author of several award-winning screenplays, among others for the feature film Code image of Idriza . His documentary film Informative conversations won is the "Heart of Sarajevo" award for the best documentary film on Sarajevo Film Festival in 2007, and later other international awards. Played Watchmen movie night , which he wrote and directed, had its world premiere in 2008 at the Venice Film Festival.

He is the author of the novel Sam and Amarcord , as well as several dramas.
