Tihomir Jančovski, poet, professor, columnist and translator, was born in Skopje in 1967. He studied comparative studies literature, medieval studies and history in Macedonia and Hungary. Before the thirties lived in Skopje, Brussels, on the island of Skiathos, in Amsterdam, London and Budapest, to finally return to his hometown, where he teaches literature and world history. He published several collections of poetry, in between others: Needle and thread , From word to word , Oh, you , Ordinary words and others. His poems have been translated and published in several languages: English, French, Slovak, Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian/Montenegro, Albanian, Slovenian, Greek and Italian. Tihomir Jančovski edited and translated into Macedonian a selection of contemporary poetry from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Conditional Freedom , which will be published this year.
