Zehrudin Isaković was born on April 8, 1966 in Zenica.  He finished primary and secondary school in Zenica, and the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo. As a journalist, he worked for several political magazines in the former Yugoslavia. Since 2002, he has been the director of Federalna news agency (FENA). He is the author of the publications: Alija - I don't know what to issue, Armija, General Alagić's War Route. Also is the author of the biography of Alija Izetbegović, Isaković is also the author of numerous television and newspaper travelogues, as well as the documentary-feature film The Charter of Kulina Ban. He lives in Sarajevo.
