She was born in Sarajevo, where she remained during its siege, which runs through the subtext of many stories. She graduated in architecture from the University of Sarajevo, received a master's degree in international relations from Webster University in Vienna, and is a contributor to Gracija magazine, for which she writes gastronomic reports. Her short fiction and essays have been published in literary magazines such as Lica, Odjek, Flash Fiction World, and Vienna Review. Over the past ten years, she has moved from Kinshasa to Vienna to Pristina.
