Nihad Hasanović was born in 1974 in Bihać. Completed the study of French language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. Published the plays Raise the Torch High (1996) and Really? (2000), a collection of short stories Kad su narodi nestali (2003), and the novels About Grill and Various Distractions (2008), Man from the Basement (2013) and Laki Pogon (2016). Also published poems, stories, essays and translations (mostly from French, and some from English and Spanish) in literary magazines, printed and online. He translated Kenizé Mourad's novel The Garden in Badalpur (2001), EM Ciorano Svesko's diary entries from Talamanca , as well as Jean Baudrillard's Spirit of Terrorism . He lives in Sarajevo.
