Tadej Golob was born in Maribor in 1967. He entered the ranks of writers with the book "From Everest", in which he describes the skiing of Davo Karničar, a competitor in extreme sports. This was followed by biographies of Peter Vilfan, Zoran Predin and Goran Dragić. He is the author of the novels "Zlatni zub", "Gdje je nestala Brina?", "Ali boma ye!", and "Svinjske nogice", for which he received the Kresnik Award in 2010.
