Nerzuk Ćurak is a doctor of political science and a full professor at the Faculty of Political Science. science at the University of Sarajevo, public intellectual, essayist, scholar publicist, journalist, editor, civil and peace activist. Its scientific interest is focused on geopolitics, peace theory, conflict management, political philosophy, ethno-nationalism, political parties and policy analysis.

Author is the book Geopolitics as Destiny: The Case of Bosnia. A Postmodern Essay on peripheral country (Sarajevo, 2002), Dayton nationalism (Sarajevo, 2004), The Reconstruction of Bosnian Utopias. Political Science, Political Philosophy and Sociology of the Dayton State and Society (Sarajevo – Zagreb, 2006), Philosophy of Hugs (Rabic, Sarajevo, 2009), Report from the periphery countries. Grammar of Geopolitics (Sarajevo, 2011). He was the head of the scientific of the Value Relationship of Political Elites in Bosnia and Herzegovina project according to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union, and as a result of that project the co-authored book Political Elite in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU: Relationship of Values ​​was published (Sarajevo, 2009), in which he is represented as the first author. At the beginning of this 2016 year, based on a one-year project that he designed, created and led, published a co-authored book Illegal forms of knowledge acquisition at universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Study of social deformation in academic culture .
