Ivan Čavlović (Kruhari-Sanski Most, 1949) is the leader Bosnian and Herzegovinian musicologist, emeritus of the University of Sarajevo and professor Academy of Music and Academy of Performing Arts of the University of Sarajevo. He is one of the founders of almost all relevant institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. without which work within the framework of musicology would not be possible today: Musicological Society of FBiH, Music magazine, International Symposium Music in society, Sarajevo Chamber Music Festival. He was the dean of the Academy of Music University of Sarajevo from 2007–2016. He has published over 200 professional, scientific and journalistic works from various fields of music science.
