Roberto Bolaño (1953, Santiago) spent most of his life in Mexico and Spain, where he died at the age of fifty. His most famous works are Chile at night , The Amulet and The Wild Detectives , a novel that Washington Named one of the best by the Post and New York Times Book Review literary works in 2007. It was awarded to him posthumously for the novel 2666 National Association of Literary Critics Award. Lumpen Novel it was published a few months before his early death.
