Margaret Atwood, whose works have been published in more than forty-five countries, wrote over fifty books of poetry, novels and critical essays, as well as graphic novels. Besides The Handmaid's Tale , according to which it was filmed and awarded television series, among her novels are Cat's Eye , which was in 1989. shortlisted for the Booker Prize; Alias Grace , which won the Giller Prize in Canada and Premio Mondello in Italy; Blind killer , Booker Prize winner in 2000; Mad Adam trilogy; and the Devil's brood . Margaret Atwood winner is the recipient of numerous awards, including Germany literary Peace Prize , Franz Kafka International Literary Prize, Lifetime Achievement Award PEN Center of the United States of America, and the Los Angeles Times Innovation Award. In the year two thousand and nineteen, she was awarded the Order of the Society of honor, for merits in the field of literature. She lives in Toronto with writer Graeme Gibson.
