Selma Asotić is a poet. She completed her master's degree in poetry at Boston University in 2019. She is the recipient of the Robert Pinsky Global Fellowship and other awards at the Brett Elizabeth Jenkins Poetry Prize. She was nominated for the Puschcart Prize for the poem "Nana", and in 2021 she was included among the semi-finalists of the 92Y Discovery Poetry Prize. She published poems and essays in English and BHS in domestic and international literary magazines.
