Rabih Alameddine (Amman, 1959) grew up in Kuwait and Lebanon, and studied in England and America, where he earned a degree in engineering from the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is the award-winning author of the novels Koolaids , I, Divine , Hakawati , The Woman Without a Cause , and The Angel of History , and for his latest novel The Wrong End of the Telescope , he received the 2022 PEN/Faulkner Award for Literature . He lives between San Francisco and Beirut.
