Bamitbah

Ivan Hrkas was born in Sarajevo in 1978. After finishing elementary school, he went to Israel, where he From 1992 to 1998, he attended Seligsberg High School in Jerusalem, which ends up as a student of the generation. Although he was admitted to the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts of Bezalel art in Jerusalem, in 1998 returns to Sarajevo and enrolls in the Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in graphic arts design. He graduated in 2004, and in 2011 he obtained a master's degree in the field Photos.

Already in January 2005, he was an assistant in the Photography course in the class of Professor Mehmed A. Akšamija, and in September 2011, assistant professor, and in In September 2016, adjunct professor on the subject Basics of Photography I and II and Photography I and II . Since May 2012, he has been a visiting professor at the College of design in Ljubljana (Slovenia). For the last five years he has been working in the sociological field photography, which is also the topic of his master's thesis.

He exhibited in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Montenegro Gora, Tunisia, Slovenia, Serbia, Great Britain, Croatia, Israel, China, Mexico, USA, and won awards at numerous festivals. He worked on organization of the Sarajevo Winter Festival and various local, international projects in the field of culture and art. Graphic He publishes his works and photographs in both local and international magazines.
