It is with sadness that we received the news that writer and friend Marko Vešović has left us.
He was born in 1945 in the village of Pape near Bijelo Polje in Montenegro. He completed high school in Bijelo Polje, the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
In 1976, he was elected assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy, where he worked until 1986, when he became editor at "Veselina Masleša". He returned to the Faculty of Philosophy in 1992. He defended his doctoral dissertation "Language in the Poetry of Radovan Zogović" in 2002 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo.
He spoke about the book "Conversations with Mark" by Almin Kaplan last year at the Škura festival, and it is saved at the link .
In that book, among other things, Vešović said: "Today I believe that the best in me remains in poetry." and "I only truly live my poetry."
The Buybook publishing house team expresses its sincere condolences to the family.
