Selvedin Avdić je rođen 1969. godine u Zenici. Do sada je objavio zbirku priča Podstanari i drugi fantomi, knjigu reportaža Zemlja,roman Sedam strahova, turistički vodič Jajca, a priredio je i knjigu o zeničkom zatvoru Kazniona. Objavljivao je priče u književnim časopisima, a neke su štampane u par antologija i zbornika.
